Michael HahN, President, Real Estate Development | Mixed-Use

Michael Hahn is an experienced real estate development leader with a history of driving large, complex, and diverse real estate projects.

Joining Flatiron Development in 2001 in Los Angeles, Michael led the transition and restoration of large, abandoned, historic properties to multi-family and retail use in the historic core of Downtown Los Angeles.

In 2003, Michael created Hahn Development, a real estate company that raised private equity and debt to construct residential development projects. Over the next decade, he ran the development and design of luxury properties in Los Angeles, building strategic relationships with bankers, private investors, architects, contractors and brokers. His attention to detail, quality of finished product, and ethical business relations earned him a reputation as a valued real estate development leader.

Retuning to Atlanta in 2012, Michael joined Jacoby Development.  Michael led the redevelopment of the former Western Electric/Bell Labs facility in Gwinnett County into a 110 acre mixed-used project. This redevelopment and rebranding of the historic 'Gateway to Gwinnett' from a manufacturing facility into 5.5M square feet of building, including retail, multifamily, hospitality and office projects and was be anchored by the largest film studio in Georgia.

Michael formed Capstone South Develpment in 2013, currently partnering with the Integral Group's commercial real estate division, Capstone successfully completed the first vertical development project at the landmark GM site in Doraville, Georgia now known as Assembly. Third Rail Studios is a 140,000 SF, state of the art, full service film and television studio, opened in 2016. Additionally, Michael is the senior development executive for the 20+ acre, $300M+ mixed-use Assembly Yards project at Assembly. In its extensive role, Capstone is leading the full cycle development of the multifamily, creative office and retail projects at the site.
